Brief introduction to the projects under construction contracted by CGC South Asia (First) Branch

At present there are five projects under construction contracted by CGC South Asia (First) Branch. As three contract packages under Khulna Water Supply Project, Bangladesh (KWSP), three of the five locate in Khulna, Bangladesh and are with the same employer, Khulna Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (KWASA): Construction of Clear Water Transmission Mains including River Crossing; Construction of Distribution Pipe Network; and Construction of Water Intake Facility and Raw Water Transmission Pipeline. As two contract packages under Karnaphuli Water Supply Project-Phase 2 (KWSP2), Chittagong, Bangladesh, two of the five are with same employer, Chittagong Water Supply and Sewerage Authority (CWASA) and are Contract No. KWSP2/W-3-1 and Contract No. KWSP2/W-3-2 of Construction of Primary / Secondary / Tertiary Distribution Network, Service Connection and Water Supply to Low Income Communities under Karnaphuli Water Supply Project - Phase 2 (KWSP2). Project Execution Unit (PEU) of CGC South Asia (First) Branch for KWSP is responsible for the implementation of the said three projects in Khulna, PEU of CGC South (First) Asia Branch for KWSP2 is responsible for the implementation of the said other two projects in Chittagong.
