CGCSAF’s main scope of business is contracting projects of road, bridge, building, municipal facilities, well drilling(water supply), farmland water conservancy(channel, reservoir, dam, etc), power transmission and transformer lines, saline-alkaline land rehabilitation (subsurface pipe dewatering, well drilling dewatering etc.), etc.

Ever since its establishment CGCSAF has contracted and completed a number of projects in Pakistan and Bangladesh. All completed and transferred projects are completed in advance or on time, and comply with the quality standards of contract and regulations, no employer penalty or contract termination in advance occur due to completion delay or poor quality management (control). All executed projects have produced positive and profound social economic benefits, greatly improved the living standard, expedited the construction of local infrastructure, and positively contributed to consolidate and strengthen the China-Pakistan friendship and the China-Bangladesh friendship.

CGCSAF has a Chinese team who are professionally competent, familiar with overseas construction environment, extraordinary capable of bearing hardship and hardworking, some of them are management, technical and professional backbone with a work experience of more than 10 years in other Asian and African countries. CGCSAF always attaches great importance to the construction of localized management in local market. Main human resource of operation and technicians for completed projects is from local. CGCSAF now has total 130 sets of construction machinery and equipment in good condition.

Taking full advantage of CGC’s great qualification and construction experience in international engineering contracting, CGCSAF positively participates in the competition of international engineering contracting market by allocating CGC overseas professional technicians. At present there are five projects under construction with total contract amount of USD 283 million, which are Construction of Clear Water Transmission Mains including River Crossing, Construction of Distribution Pipe Network and Construction of Water Intake Facility and Raw Water Transmission Pipeline under Khulna Water Supply Project, Bangladesh; Contract No. KWSP2/W-3-1 and Contract No. KWSP2/W-3-2 of Construction of Primary / Secondary / Tertiary Distribution Network, Service Connection and Water Supply to Low Income Communities under Karnaphuli Water Supply Project - Phase 2 (KWSP2), Chittagong, Bangladesh.

In the increasingly fierce competition of international engineering market, CGCSAF will use the opportunity of implementation of national plan for “The Belt and Road Initiative”, with the development strategy of “base on advantageous core business, insist on benefit, expand new fields and transform development pattern” as guideline, to further strengthen the basis, train international personnel, strengthen the localized construction, improve quality and increase efficiency so as to make CGCSAF one of CGC branches with more compound talents, stronger technological ability, higher scientific management level, better profit-making capability and greater international comprehensive competitiveness.
